Hello Zhia, Inc. ("Hello Zhia," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers our website, web app, email list, and the Zhia AI companion (the "Service").

1. What we collect

• Account details: name and email address.

• Birth details: date, time, and place of birth, used to generate your Human Design chart.

• Conversations: what you write to Zhia, and short summaries of past sessions so she can remember your journey.

• Payment details: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

• Email list: your name and email if you sign up on our website or a partner page.

• Technical data: basic device, browser, and usage information needed to run and secure the Service.

You may choose to share sensitive personal information with Zhia, such as details about your emotions, health, or relationships. Share only what you are comfortable sharing. We use it only to provide your coaching experience.

2. How we use it

• To create your chart and personalize Zhia's guidance

• To remember your past sessions and support your integration over time

• To process payments and manage subscriptions

• To send account emails and, if you opt in, our newsletter

• To keep the Service secure and fix problems

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, under agreements that limit how they can use it:

• Anthropic (AI model that powers Zhia's responses)

• Google Firebase / Google Cloud (hosting, login, and data storage)

• Bodygraph (Human Design chart calculations, using your birth details)

• Stripe (payments)

• systeme.io (our website)

• Squarespace (the signup page where you join Zhia, and our email list)

• OpenAI (hosts the current version of Zhia inside ChatGPT)

If you use Zhia through ChatGPT, OpenAI's own privacy policy also applies to that use.

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect someone's safety.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your account data, birth details, conversations, and session summaries within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep certain records (such as payment records).

5. Your choices and rights

You can view and update your account details, delete your account in settings, and unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message.

California residents have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how we use it; request a copy of it; correct it; delete it; limit our use of sensitive personal information; and opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither). We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

To make a request, email connect@hellozhia.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

6. Age requirement

The Service is only for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us at connect@hellozhia.com.

7. Security

We use industry-standard protections, including encryption in transit and secured cloud storage with access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect.
